This website (excel-to-power-bi.com) is operated by IAS17 Consulting BV, registered in the Netherlands (KVK: 56215479). We are responsible for the processing of your personal data as described in this policy.

2. What data we collect

We collect only the following personal data:

• Email address — provided by you when downloading a generated Power BI file.

We do not collect names, payment details, or any other personal information. The Excel files you upload are processed in memory and are not permanently stored beyond a maximum of 3 days, solely for technical delivery purposes.

3. Why we process your data

Your email address is collected for two purposes:

• Service delivery — to associate your download session with your request.
• Email marketing — to occasionally send you tips and updates related to Excel and Power BI. You can unsubscribe at any time.

The legal basis for processing is your explicit consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by checking the consent checkbox before downloading.

4. How long we keep your data

Your email address is retained for as long as you remain subscribed to our tips. Generated Power BI and Excel files stored on our servers are automatically deleted after 3 days.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties, except where strictly necessary to operate the service (e.g. our hosting provider). All service providers are contractually bound to protect your data and process it only on our instructions.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to processing for direct marketing
• Withdraw consent at any time
• Lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens)

7. Cookies

This website does not use cookies for tracking or analytics purposes. We use only a temporary session cookie to link your file upload to your download request. This cookie is strictly necessary for the service to function and expires when you close your browser.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
