1. About us

These Terms of Service govern your use of excel-to-power-bi.com, operated by IAS17 Consulting BV, registered in the Netherlands (KVK: 56215479). By using this service you agree to these terms.

2. The service

We provide a web tool that converts Excel and CSV files into Power BI template files (.pbit). The service is available as a free tier and a paid Pro subscription (€19/month).

3. Account and subscriptions

A Pro subscription gives you access to extended features as described on the pricing page. Subscriptions are billed monthly and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.

4. Acceptable use

You may only use this service for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Upload files containing malicious code or content that infringes third-party rights
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute the service
• Use automated means to access the service beyond normal use
• Share your API key or Pro account credentials with third parties

5. Your files

You retain ownership of all files you upload. We process your files solely to provide the service. Uploaded files are deleted automatically after a maximum of 3 days. We do not use your files for any other purpose.

6. Intellectual property

All software, design, and content on this website are owned by IAS17 Consulting BV. The generated .pbit files are yours to use freely. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works of our service or website.

7. Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify Pro subscribers by email of material changes. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
